1.     Firstly, use a sharp, clean blade or your fingernail to carefully pick at the edge of the vinyl surface, being careful to keep your fingers away from the blade.

2.     Once you are able to grasp a corner of the sticker, start to slowly peel the vinyl away from the wall at a 45 degree angle.

3.       The vinyl should come away easily, but if you are having problems then try gently heating the corner of the vinyl sticker with a hairdryer, being careful not to let it get too hot or too close to the sticker. This should loosen the adhesive from the vinyl, and allow you to peel the sticker away from the wall. Continue heating one section at a time, and peel away until complete.

4.    You shouldn’t have any problems with adhesive remaining on the wall, but if you do then it should easily be removed with warm, soapy water.

5.     Finally, if the adhesive is more stubborn, there are a couple of things you can do. For glass surfaces, try window cleaner and a little pressure. For walls, an acetone based adhesive remover should work on stubborn spots. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions before using on painted surfaces or wallpapers in order to avoid damage. Always test a small section first, in an area which is less visible, to ensure it won’t remove the paint colour from the wall.
