CLEAN YOUR SURFACE
Firstly clean thoroughly the application surface. Surfaces can be cleaned with a damp cloth and water or a fast drying cleaner such as rubbing alcohol.
Avoid using solvents, household surface cleaners or window cleaners as they can leave residues that reduce the effectiveness of the vinyl adhesion.

POSITIONING
Once your surface has been cleaned, position your vinyl to where it will be applied.Make sure that your design/vinyl is in the correct position and straight. (Use a spirit level), then fix it in place at the top edge with masking tape.

Your vinyl will be covered with the application tape, now is a good time to rub over the top of the application tape with your squeegee to make sure it is well attached to the vinyl underneath.

Start from one of the bottom corners and carefully peel off the backing sheet from the underside leaving the vinyl attached to the application sheet.

If any of the vinyl remains on the backing sheet firmly press the backing paper back down and lift it up again until all of the vinyl has been transferred.

Once the backing sheet has been removed slowly and carefully fold the application tape with the vinyl stuck to it back down and using your squeegee carefully smooth the vinyl onto your surface outwards from the center.
HOW TO REMOVE VINYL

Use fingernails or a blade to pick at and lift an edge of the vinyl. Slowly and firmly peel back the vinyl along the surface as opposed to straight out.

To remove vinyl from glass you can also use hot water (not boiling).

The adhesive can sometimes remain on the surface, particularly if the vinyl has been in place for a number of years. If you are having trouble removing it with window cleaner a more effective result will be achieved with an acetone based adhesive remover.

VINYL MAINTENANCE

Vinyl can be cleaned with a soft, non-abrasive cleaning cloth. Use a warm soapy solution, and rinse afterwards. Do not use abrasive cleaners or high pressure washers or steam cleaners
